We are actively hiring a full-time Substance Abuse Counselor / Drug Counselor to join our established outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP).
This is a W2 position with guaranteed hours — not fee-for-service.

Primary Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling (average 8–10 client sessions daily)
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans
- Complete timely documentation in EMR
- Monitor client progress and support recovery goals
- Participate in supervision and team meetings
- Collaborate with medical and behavioral health staff
- Maintain compliance with program policies and regulatory standards
Travel up to 15% for client-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred
OR
- Maryland credentials: LGADC, LCADC, CAC-AD, CSC-AD, ADT, LGPC, LCPC
- Experience in substance use or behavioral health preferred
- Strong documentation skills
- Compassionate and professional approach to client care
